Mt. Sterling, KY (1/27/2017) – Behind Kennedy Igo’s 27 points, the most she has scored since becoming a Lady Cardinal, GRC Hoops improved to 18-3 on the season with a 76-32 victory against 40th District rival, the Montgomery County Lady Indians. Igo seemed to be on a mission and her focus led to her best shooting night of the season as she connected on 11 of 13 shots including a perfect night (3-3) at the 3-point line.
Jasmine Flowers and Maleaha Bell also provided some offensive punch with 12 points apiece. Elizabeth Hardiman and Hayley Harrison chipped in with 8 points each while Aliyah Gray (4), Tyra Flowers (3), and Kylee Murray (2)rounded out the scoring.
As a team, GRC was 29-53 (54.7%) from the field including 3-8 (37.5%) from the field. From the free throw line, the Lady Cardinals were 9-14 (64.3%).
Igo also led GRC on the boards with 6 rebounds.
